30 Screaming Years
An art show for thirty years of the Screaming Hand, Jim Phillips' 1985 design for Santa Cruz that became one of skateboarding's best-known images. Phillips himself, his sons Jimbo and Colby, and dozens of artists and skaters each made their own version of the Hand.
The show opened at The Seventh Letter gallery in Los Angeles in July 2015, moved on to Vancouver, and toured US cities into 2016. Santa Cruz also released show decks from it, including Todd Bratrud's Silent Stump and a Bigfoot Hand.
