Santa Cruz × Mars Attacks
Released in May 2018, Santa Cruz teamed up with Topps again for a blind-bag range: each sealed bag held one randomly assorted 8.25" deck mashing up a classic Santa Cruz graphic with the Martians of the Mars Attacks trading cards, each with its own alien twist: glitter, blacklight ink, glow-in-the-dark, prismatic foil.
There were nine variants to collect. Eight standard decks reworked Kendall's Atomic Man, Corey O'Brien's Reaper, a classic Rob Roskopp graphic and Jason Jessee's Guadalupe, the rarest being "Maid" of Mars: just 250 made, with ground Mars meteorite in the ink. The ninth was the Artist Series: 50 one-of-one decks hand-drawn by artists including Jimbo Phillips and Todd Bratrud.
The series also appears in the portfolio of artist Pitchgrim.
