Eric Dressen

Eric Dressen grew up skating in Venice and the Dogtown area, appearing in Skateboarder magazine at ten and turning pro as a teenager. Through the 1980s and 1990s he rode for Alva, Dogtown and Santa Cruz, and his speed and aggression in Santa Cruz videos such as Speed Freaks and Risk It made him one of the pioneers of street skating. The salad grind is named after him, he is also an established tattoo artist, and he entered the Skateboarding Hall of Fame in 2017.
