Jaya Bonderov

Jaya Bonderov was born in Inverness, California, in 1971 and spent his childhood in Hanalei on Kaua'i before moving to San Francisco to skate professionally. He rode for Santa Cruz in the early 1990s, landed the cover of Thrasher in July 1994 and later appeared in Volcom's 1997 video Freedom Wig. Through his travels he also built a reputation as an action-sports photographer. He died on Kaua'i in 2012, aged 40.
