Matt Hensley

Matt Hensley was born in Newport Beach, California, in 1970 and grew up in Vista, skating Surf de Earth from the age of seven. After early backing from Vision he turned pro for H-Street in 1988, and his parts in Shackle Me Not and Hokus Pokus made him one of the most influential street skaters of the era; he later rode for Plan B and, in the late 1990s, Black Label, filming a part for Label Kills. Away from skating he is best known as the accordion player in the band Flogging Molly.
