Steve Alba
Steve Alba, known as Salba, was born in Montclair, California, and has been a pro skateboarder for over 40 years. He is regarded as an expert at finding and skating backyard pools and won the first pool contest in 1978. He rode for Santa Cruz in the 1980s alongside his brother Mickie, still rides for the brand, and is also a guitarist in punk and rock bands.
