As such, I have always liked park or vertical boards that had a bit of a narrower tail. I like the narrower tail as it allows for a bit more sensitivity with my back foot. I can hang my back toe over the board in certain instances which gives me a bit more feel and leverage and I can ride on the ball of my foot with a bit more feeling being so close to the edge of the board than I could otherwise with a wider tail.
