FIBERLAM construction is 5 HRM veneers sandwiched in between 2 high density thermal poly plys with an embeded ultra fine homogenous commingled stranded filament. That's the technical terminology. what does it mean? Good shit! FIBERLAM top and bottom sheets gives gives greater upward flex strength and overall stiffness keeping the board stiffer longer and increases overall board strength giving you a board with longer life than the traditional all wood construction. The top and bottom layers are where the most pressure on a deck happens. When they they all give. FIBERLAM keeps it tight. FIBERLAM has greater slide potential with less surface wear.
