Chocolate

Girl's sister brand, started in 1994 by Rick Howard and Mike Carroll and known for a line-up of famously stylish skaters.

History

  • Chocolate was started in 1994 as a sister company to Girl by Rick Howard and Mike Carroll. [2][1][3]
  • It was set up because Girl was running out of room for riders the founders wanted to sponsor, with Chico Brenes an early focus. [2][1]
  • Keenan Milton rode for Chocolate and appeared in Las Nueve Vidas de Paco (1995) and The Chocolate Tour (1999). [4][2]
  • Pretty Sweet (2012) was a joint Girl and Chocolate video. [2]
  • English skater Dougie George is a more recent team rider. [2]

Sources disagree
