It was my dream to have a pro model some day on Powell-Peralta and to have my name next to all the great skateboarders that made up the Bones Brigade. That dream became real this past week when Powell-Peralta released my new pro model. This graphic is inspired by my Irianian heritage, which I’ll talk about more in the near future. It’s also a huge honor and I’m so proud to have this illustration designed by legendary graphic designer & artist, Vernon Courtland Johnson aka VCJ. In my opinion he’s created some of the most iconic images in skateboarding’s short history. I’m very grateful for the release of my new pro board and thankful for the opportunity to have this dream become reality!" - Salman AgahOriginally Released: 2018Artwork by: Vernon Courtlandt JohnsonFLIGHT™ Decks are:Thinner - as thin as your phoneStronger - more than twice as strong in our tail break testsLonger lasting - The epoxy infused, fiber reinforced structure of the Flight deck is extremely resistant to breaking, and this structure gives them "everlasting pop" that doesn't fade as your deck slowly wears.Ollies higher because of greater rebound and snap.Team testing suggests that Flight decks will last several times longer than a 7-ply, making them a great value as well as a superior performing skateboard.*Remember, skateboards are meant to be ridden, not run over by a car or truck.
