Salman Agah

Salman Agah was born in Washington, D.C. and grew up skating in San Jose, California. Stacy Peralta put him on Powell Peralta as a teenager, and he went on to ride for Real in the early 1990s, then The Firm, then Black Label from 2000 to 2017, before going back to Powell Peralta. He helped make switch-stance street skating mainstream and was Thrasher's Skater of the Year in 1993. He also had one of Vans' early signature shoes, and he was inducted into the Skateboarding Hall of Fame in 2022.
