Chet Childress

Chet Childress grew up in Wilmington on the North Carolina coast, after moving there from Virginia, and started skating in 1984 on a ramp built by local skaters. He turned pro for Creature in 1996, then rode for 151 Skateboards, Six Guns and Black Label, and later Heroin Skateboards. He is known for finding his own transition spots, the bridge bluntslide in his Back to Black part, and his own art.
