Harold Hunter

Harold Hunter (1974–2006) was a New York City skateboarder who grew up in a housing project in the East Village. He first drew attention in a 1989 Thrasher photo essay by Charlie Samuels and was best known for riding for Zoo York. He played Harold in Larry Clark's 1995 film Kids and later started Rock Star Bearings Co. The Harold Hunter Foundation was set up in his memory to support city kids interested in skateboarding.
